SIMA signs partnership with Tech&Bio tradeshow

On 1 March 2022 at the Paris Agriculture Show, a three-way partnership was signed between Isabelle Alfano, Director of SIMA, Sébastien Windsor, Chairman of French Chambers of Agriculture and Jean-Pierre Royannez, Chairman of the Drôme Chamber of Agriculture. For the very fist time, a not-to-be-missed event within the event regarding organic farming, will take place at SIMA : the Tech&Bio meetings by SIMA.

A new highlight regarding Organic Farming

« We have been working nationwide for about three years on two strategic pillars: supporting transitions in agriculture, and creating value for communities » explains Sébastien Windsor, Chairman of the Agricultural Chambers.

Because SIMA, like the French agricultural world, is turning towards more efficient and more sustainable agriculture at the service of all farmers and breeders, this space will provide answers and alternatives to these new challenges.

For Isabelle Alfano, SIMA Show Director « The show, which has traditionally specialised in farm machinery, will also welcome all the solutions and technologies that enable farmers to find appropriate ways of addressing the many challenges of the sector. Hosting Tech& Bio is part of this transformation, and we warmly welcome this opportunity ».

From 6 to 10 November 2022, find on the organic farming dedicated area :

  • 10 technical and economics talks,
  • 1 stand entitled “Osez la bio”, run by French Chambers of Agriculture advisers,
  • 1 Tech&Bio exhibitors village.

For Jean-Pierre Royannez, Chairman of the Drôme Chamber of Agriculture and organiser of the Tech&Bio tradeshow « This new meeting, which we intend to repeat at each of SIMA’s future shows, will offer visitors the best of both worlds: the best in machinery thanks to SIMA, and technical excellence thanks to Tech&Bio ».

We are excited to welcome you in large numbers on this new area, which wishes to support the transition of agricultural systems and the development of organic farming today and tomorrow!
