A word from NOREMAT

Testimony of Christophe Bachmann, Managing Director, NOREMAT

As a national and international showcase, SIMA is the perfect event at which to present our major equipment innovations and most importantly our digital solutions dedicated to the profession.

Can you describe your company’s business activity?

An independent and family-owned company, Noremat designs and sells solutions for roadside maintenance, landscaping and the processing of green waste.
Our vocation is to accompany our professional clients towards more profitable business through an innovative range of equipment and associated services. This mission appears in the very name of Noremat, which stands for “nouvelle rentabilité de matériel” - new equipment profitability.
At the heart of the company’s approach, our priorities are attentiveness, service and customer proximity, and are based on a network of nine regional branches in France.
Abroad, Noremat relies on a network of exclusive importers selected for their professionalism, their enthusiasm for the product and their sense of service.

What is your past  history with SIMA?

While Noremat was founded in 1981 as a regional company (in the east of France), our first participation at SIMA in 1985 propelled us onto the national scene by meeting new customers from all over France. Since then, our name has become better known year after year.
In 1991, Noremat received the Silver medal at the SIMA Innovation Awards for the invention of its first C115 carrier. This distinction added further legitimacy to our reputation as a serious and innovative manufacturer.
Several years later, SIMA helped us in our expansion into foreign markets. The larger our stand became, the more highly we were considered and the more we respected, and the more interest we raised among foreign dealers whom we could not have reached otherwise.
Finally, it is certain that our participation is at SIMA has played and will continue to play a role as a springboard for the development of our firm, through winning new clients and sales leads and through the recognition of our know-how on an international scale.

How can SIMA help you develop your business in current market conditions?

It is certain that our participation is at SIMA has played and will continue to play a role as a springboard for the development of our firm, through winning new clients and sales leads and through the recognition of our know-how on an international scale.

What are you expecting from SIMA 2020?

As a national and international showcase, SIMA is the perfect event at which to present our major equipment innovations and most importantly our digital solutions dedicated to the profession.
Once again this year, we hope to turn SIMA into a special opportunity to meet a large number of customers and potential clients, understand their expectations and identify signals on where their professions are heading.
Finally, we also expect SIMA to be the meeting place for young people with a keen interest in agricultural machinery so that we can fulfil our recruitment needs. We are staking a lot on our employer brand to win over young talent and encourage them to become our future employees.
