The forum "France - Russia:
an agricultural cooperation
focusing on Innovation and Performance"

On 20 November 2008, the forum "France - Russia: an agricultural cooperation focusing on Innovation and Performance" will take place as part of the business programme for the AGROSALON exhibition.
The forum will be organized by EXPOSIMA, the Economic Mission of the French Embassy in Moscow and the Russian office of PROMOSALONS.
France is the main producer of agricultural equipment in the European Union and the leading agricultural country. Its experience and successes have earned it great recognition around the world.

"Our objectives for the Forum are to present innovative French agricultural technologies, to provide participants with information about the outlook and development trends in the market and to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Franco-Russian cooperation in this area on the basis of some practical examples",
explained Martine Degremont, Manager of the SIMA exhibition.

Representatives of major French agricultural machinery manufacturers and Russian companies will attend the Forum, together with delegates from the Economic Mission of the French Embassy in Moscow. To mark the close of the event on 20 November, EXPOSIMA will invite VIPs and journalists to an evening at the French Embassy in Moscow.

EXPOSIMA's main event is the key agricultural exhibition SIMA, established in 1922. The 73rd session of this biennial event is due to take place from 22 to 26 February 2009 in Paris at the Parc d'expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte. It will attract more than 1,350 exhibitors and more than 213,000 professionals.

The Economic Mission of the French Embassy in Russia

Attached to the Embassy, the Economic Mission brings together the services of the Treasury Department and the economic policy of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Employment in a given country.
